Most packing video tools for Shopify stop at storing a file in their own dashboard. That is fine until the person who needs it is a support agent working a ticket at 9pm, or a bank reviewing a chargeback that you will never speak to. What matters is where the proof ends up and whether a stranger can check it.

Install and connect
Install from the Shopify App Store and approve the scopes. The connection is OAuth; no API keys are copied by hand.

Orders arrive on their own
Order webhooks are verified by HMAC signature before anything is trusted — the store is identified from the signed header, not from the request body, which can be spoofed.

Film while you pack
Open the order on the phone or laptop already at the bench and record. Proofs can be attached to a specific line item, not just to the order as a whole.

The proof goes back to Shopify
The verify link is written onto the order as a metafield, with an order tag and a note, so it is visible to anyone opening that order in Shopify admin.

Hold fulfilment when you want the buyer to confirm
For high-risk orders PallasMark can place a fulfilment hold until the buyer approves what they are about to receive, then release it automatically.

What this integration does not do
PallasMark does not read your Shopify customer list, and it does not create, edit or refund orders. Write-back is limited to attaching proof — a metafield, a tag and a note. If you turn write-back off, nothing is written to Shopify at all and the proof lives only in PallasMark.

Questions
Do I need a camera or a fixed packing station?
No. Recording happens in the browser or in the PallasMark app for iOS and Android, on the device already at the bench. A mounted camera works for one fixed high-volume station but stops working the moment packing happens in more than one place.
Where does the proof link end up in Shopify?
On the order: as a metafield, plus an order tag and an order note. Anyone who opens that order in Shopify admin can see it without knowing PallasMark exists.
Can a proof be tied to one line item rather than the whole order?
Yes. Shopify's payload gives the line item id together with the product and variant ids, so a recording can be bound to the specific item it shows. That matters on multi-item orders where only one line is disputed.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
Order webhooks stop and nothing further is written to your store. Proofs already recorded stay in PallasMark for the retention period of your plan, and their verify links keep working.
