Capture & seal

Video a bank cannot wave away

Film the order while it is packed. PallasMark seals the file the instant it lands, burns the timestamp into the picture, and gives anyone a link to check the fingerprint for themselves.

A phone video proves nothing on its own

Banks and marketplaces treat plain video as unverifiable: no fixed time, no chain of custody, and trivially trimmed. The clip that should have saved you gets ignored, because nothing about it rules out that you made it afterwards.

What you get

Sealed on arrival

The raw bytes are hashed with SHA-256 before anything else touches them, and that original fingerprint is kept alongside the playable version. The chain of custody starts at the file you actually recorded, not at a processed copy.

Timestamp burned into the picture

Date, time and order reference are drawn into the frame itself rather than tucked into metadata a reviewer has to trust. Anyone watching the video can see when it was taken.

Public verification page

Every proof has a verify link. Open it and the page confirms whether that fingerprint belongs to a sealed recording — with no PallasMark account and no login on the other side.

Forensic context stored with the file

Recording time, upload time, upload IP, browser, operating system and version, device model, manufacturer, screen size, pixel ratio, timezone and language are all stored with the proof. Its origin is describable, not merely asserted.

Location and facility consistency

Where location is available it is captured with the proof and compared against the warehouse's own geofence. The result is recorded honestly as match, mismatch or unknown — indoor GPS drifts, so it is a supporting signal, never an identity check.

Video, photos, documents and notes

One order can hold a packing video, a close-up of a serial number, a photo of the shipping label and a written note. All of them are sealed the same way and travel together.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open the order

Scan the barcode or pick the order from the list, in a browser or in the iOS or Android app. No special camera.

  2. 2

    Record

Film while you pack. The timestamp is drawn into the frame as you go.

  3. 3

    It seals itself

On upload the file is fingerprinted and locked. There is no edit button — not for the buyer, and not for you.

  4. 4

    Anyone can check it

The order carries a verify link you can hand to a buyer, a bank, a marketplace or a carrier.

Questions people actually ask

What stops someone editing the video afterwards?

Nothing has to stop them, because an edit is detectable. The fingerprint is taken from the exact bytes that arrived; change a single frame and the file produces a different fingerprint, so it no longer matches the sealed record.

Can a buyer or a bank verify it without an account?

Yes. The verify page is public. They open the link and the page tells them whether that fingerprint belongs to a sealed recording and when it was made.

Do we need special cameras or hardware?

No. Your team films on the phone they already have, either in the browser or in the PallasMark app.

Is the original file kept, or only the compressed one?

The fingerprint of the original raw upload is stored permanently alongside the playable version, so the chain starts before any processing happened.
